Best.Gig.Ever.

Posies in Cambridge last night thanks to lilblackcat who from now on I worship as a Goddess for this. Boy did they rock.

They were quite drunk, which was so charming as they played some Posies greats and then rattled through some surreal covers ranging from Prince to Oasis to the Pet Shop Boys.

Ken called out at me twice thru the set
"Hey is the Soap Lady here?!" he shouted.
That actually sounds a bit pervy if you didn't know I am the royal appointed soap procurer to the Auer family.

At one point the band had all swapped instruments leaving Darius bereft of drumkit and wandering around the stage. He found a microphone and stood there calling "What the fuck is going on?! What the fuck is going on!"

The last song, You Are The Cosmos, Darius calls the entire audience onto the stage, and the band serenade us all. Funniest thing - Jamie my friend was visiting the mens room and arrived back to an empty hall and EVERYONE on stage. His face was a picture.

MY BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

The news, I had been half dreading, half wishing for.

I am getting my braces on the 28th November. That's TWENTY days away.

In a farewell to my teeth, I am holding a GOODBYE MIRA'S TEEF PARTY on 25th November at my place.

Bring me steak, bring me toffee apples, bring me peanut brittle and rock to chew on. Bring me anything tasty and chewy or hard so I can gorge over this final weekend of naked teethness.

I am scared and excited. I am depressed and relieved.

I am a big huge mess of emotions.

Come, celebrate with me and watch me descend into a weeping, hysterical, glorious mess!!
