Since the operation we have to retrain my new jaw & teeth to make a new correct bite. For the first time in my life my top teeth sit over my bottom teeth - like a proper normal person!



I wear 4 x rubber bands at the moment

2 are Tan colored and exert 103g of force

1 is Blue and exerrts 131g of force

1 is Red and exerts 113g of force

This is my favourite picture from Sonar festival so far :) Not only am I doing a rock face but also the rock hand sign! Also LOOK at that crowd!! There were loads of them and such happy up for it people too! And generous and lovely!!

Last night I worked at Fandango and it was a bit quiet..so quiet in fact I had an escape plan worked out in case Branka and I needed to do a runner, it involved hiding in the girls toilet so I'm not sure how good a plan it was!

My favourite band of the night were The Mother Hips...two dudes singing harmonies and their latest music has the word "crystal" in it. Instant WIN!

this is good for me to read this morning - the whole "i'm not alone in this - and it could be worse!" waking up to the first batch of real pain for months, due to just 2 new teeny elastics covering lots of teeth, makes me shudder at the idea of how many you're wearing and all that force! holy crap! i am still so happy for you too that there is no more surgery. surgery wasn't so bad the 1st time - but by now i've realised that the last thing that i want is more - it's hard to explain, but it's sorta that "i can see the light at the end of the tunnel", and the more i fixate on that light, the more i realise how important it is that we can continue on the easier-easier slope of orthodontics, rather than surgery. it's so important for my state of mind! argh, i'm not describing it well. but i'm sure you know what i mean ... we need OUT!!! i'm expecting by the end of october. CROSS FINGERS FOR US BOTH!

we'll both be out before Christmas (AT THE VERY WORST POSSIBLE AWFUL CASE SCENARIO!!) - it will be wonderful! :) and our teefs will look amazing!
